Dry Season, Blue Days: April to October
From April to October, Bali runs on blue: clear mornings, turquoise water, and weeks without rain. This is the half of the year the island is famous for — and dressing for it is gloriously simple.
Light natural fabrics do all the work. Loose gauze pants dry in minutes after a swim stop, a breathable top keeps the midday sun manageable, and light colors bounce heat instead of holding it. Evenings stay warm on the coast and cool inland — one soft layer covers both.
When exactly is dry season?
Roughly April through October, with July and August the driest. Shoulder months — April, May, September, October — bring the same blue days with fewer crowds.
