Care
Our pieces are organic cotton, cotton gauze and linen, dyed in small batches. Treated gently they get softer with every wash and keep their colour for years.
Washing
- Cold or 30 °C, gentle cycle, with similar colours. Dark and terracotta pieces on their own for the first two washes.
- Mild detergent, no bleach, no fabric softener (it coats the fibre and stops it breathing).
- Turn the piece inside out to protect the surface.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry. Reshape while damp and hang or lay flat in the shade.
- Strong sun fades natural dyes; dry indoors or in shade.
Ironing
- Low heat, or steam. Cotton gauze is meant to look softly crinkled; a light steam is enough.
- Linen creases by nature. That is the material, not a fault.
Pre-washed
Every piece is washed before it is sewn, so it will not shrink noticeably after your first wash if you follow the steps above.
